Built in 1881, Brydone Hotel Oamaru is located in central Oamaru, within walking distance of the historic town center. Our room was in the original old part of this classic hotel. It was beautifully renovated with everything one would expect. It is five minutes walk from the intercity bus stop.

Teschemakers Resort is set on a 70-acre land. The 3-star property is located in Oamaru. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Fantastic little place with a lot of atmosphere! the room had a lot of space, it was clean and super comfortable. The staff was amazing and welcoming, making us feel at hone, as every request was answered immediately. the internet was slow, but the hotel manager warned us before we even knew that there is a general issue related to the entire area, so it’s not the hotel’s fault. the AC a bit noisy, but it didn’t matter much as this hotel is a gem!

It was an absolutely beautiful , well designed unit with an ocean view. Within walking distance of the historic "steam punk" district. It was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The hosts were very kind and considerate.

This property had everything on offer. It was so well thought out. Dawn had really put herself into her guests shoes and thought if every comfort one could possibly want. My family only had one night but we had such a happy stay, especially compared to places we have stayed in on our onward travel. We couldn’t believe just how spacious the house was upstairs. The bathroom was new and beds very comfortable. We would definitely recommend others to stay here. Thank you Dawn, you were an amazing host.
